PastureGard HL herbicide is not just a more concentrated formulation of the product. PastureGard HL also is easier to use than its predecessor. Tank-mix flexibility with ForeFront HL or GrazonNext HL herbicides when a wide mix of woody plants and broadleaf weeds is present, or when residual weed control is desired ...Does not contain 2,4-D ...Is not a Restricted Use Pesticide ....Gentle to desirable grasses ...Absorbed through foliage and stems

This was applied within hours to a lawn of Bermuda grass in early spring with temperatures of 70ish degrees. It rained directly after application and still killed everything. All weeds and Bermuda was destroyed. Hoping I can repair the lawn and that it grows back without costing me hundreds to sod it.
We only have an acre of pasture out back for some rescue animals. Neighbors on either side of us also have the same amount -- and they don't worry about weeds. So our pasture went from grass to weeds rather quickly, before I actually noticed enough. Pasture Guard works well, but don't use it in hot weather as it will kill the grass as well. The broadleaf weeds start wilting within a day and gradually die back. We will re-seed this autumn and this time I will keep an eye out and the Pasture Guard ready!
Texas A&M recommended this product to control Tasajillo and prickly pear. The suggest that you mix it with methylated seed oil as a surfactant and suggests that it takes up to 6 months to kill the cactus. We have a terrible problem with Tasajillo cactus and have gotten good results within 2 weeks during the hottest part of the summer. The prickly pear have been slower to react. Since this product does not require an applicator's license in Texas, it is fabulous. A&M says that there is no soil residue (like Picloram) and I have seen no damage to nearby trees as long as they don't come in direct contact with the spray.
