Jobe's Organics All Purpose Fertilizer with Biozome for All Your Organic Gardening Needs
Recommended as a fast acting granular fertilizer and as a supplement to liquid fertilizer. Granular fertilizer is worked into the soil or sprinkled around plants or trees. Granular fertilizer lasts longer than liquid fertilizer. It is absorbed at the root level instead of being absorbed through the leaves like a liquid fertilizer. Another advantage of granular fertilizer is that you do not have to apply it as often as a liquid fertilizer. (Available sizes: 1.5 pounds, 4 pounds and 16 pounds).
Jobe's Organics All Purpose Water Soluble Mix Plant Food Mix with Biozome
Create your own liquid fertilizer using Jobe’s Organics Water Soluble Plant Food Mix with Biozome. Recommended as a quick boost during the growing season & as a supplement to granular fertilizer. Apply every 1 to 2 weeks. Easy to apply using spray bottles, watering cans or sprinkler attachments. Needs to be applied more frequently than granular and fertilizer spikes.
Jobe's Organics All Purpose Fertilizer Spikes for All Your Organic Gardening Needs
Recommended as a slow release fertilizer and as a continuous release supplement. Jobe’s Organics Fertilizer Spikes are specially formulated, pre-measured nutrient compressed spikes for root-level feeding. Fertilizer spikes are safe for the environment. The time release formula dissolves into the soil gradually instead of getting washed away from the surface by rain or watering. Safe for use around children and pets.
Jobe's Biozome Only Available in Jobe's Organics Products
Jobe's All Purpose Granular Fertilizer, Water Soluble Fertilizer and Fertilizer Spikes all contain Jobe's Biozome and are OMRI listed for organic gardening. Jobe’s Organics All Purpose Fertilizers are guaranteed not to burn when used as directed. Select the all purpose fertilizer that best fits your organic gardening needs.

Having grown in containers on a very small scale for two subsequent years I realized this year that I wanted to have enough plants this summer such that my gardening was more than just a hobby and I could get some decent quantity of harvest. Container soil with additives is really expensive and it is also a terrible waste to buy fresh soil each season. With that in mind I decided to use my old soil that I have been using for the past two years and also since I was also adding some huge containers to my garden, decided to experiment with using cheap top soil with no additives and adding my own fertilizers and nutrients. Now I never use synthetic chemical fertilizers for my garden because (a) they are notorious for going into your local water bodies as run-offs and gradually but steadily disturbing your local ecosystem and (b) they basically destroy all the beneficial bacteria and fungi that you might have in your soil that keep the soil healthy and promotes healthy growth in plants. In the past I have used all liquid fertilizer that has worked well but the problem with that is that I needed to mix that in watering can every alternate watering and when you have as many plants as I was planning to have that becomes too tedious. So started looking for some combination of solid fertilizers and soil additives that I could add to the soil and essentially forget about for the better part of the season.
When I transplanted my seedlings in early summer I used a combination of earthworm castings, Kelp meal and 'Down to earth' Biolive fertilizer which was essentially a mix of marine byproducts mainly crab meal and fish bone meal. I thought this in combination with some bat guano, that I would add later in the summer, would be enough for a nice crop. However even after three weeks of warm weather and bright sun, the seedlings grew very slowly and had started to get pale discolored leaves. Realizing that this could be because of nutrient deficiency and that the down to earth fertilizer was not good enough, I looked for an organic fertilizer that could correct the deficiency and fast. Thats when I found this product and since it promised to deliver fast result I decided to give it a go.
Lo and behold, within a week of scratching this product into the top soil all my plants looked as if they had been jolted awake. They started growing greener, bigger leaves and I was happy to see that there were plenty of flower buds also developing on 'adolescent' plants.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves but I will say that I am very impressed with this fertilizer. I have fed my plants only twice this season, once with this fertilizer and once with a half and half mixture of this and the Jobe's Rose and Flower fertilizer (this one has a higher potassium content that is needed for flower and fruit development). Yet the harvests have been multiple and plentiful, the fruits are flavorful and this fertilizer has completely surpassed all my expectations. I have already giving away many tomatoes and eggplants to friends and neighbors which is something I never expected to do when gardening only in containers. Yes this fertilizer is smelly but once worked into the soil it doesn't have any odor, for humans at least. And my philosophy is that the smelly fertilizers are always the best ones since that means that there is real decomposed organic matter in there which your plants will love.

SO AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER A YEAR: I have determined that odor is actually b/c it's a fish meal based fertilizer. So PU, and yucky dust but I can't deny that my plants are lush and happy. I have a planted pot garden on patio, not sure if that makes a difference. And I use it as a refresher in the pots mixed in potting soil every month or so followed by a good watering. It seemed to help the plants get a big growth spurt once they were "adolescent," and also kicked in a second wind for the flowering plants after the first round of blooming was dying down. They sure seem to appreciate the nutrition. So have changed my mind about the first review.
