Product Description

The ST95084 TerraKing Pro Leaf Bag is the bag for those who are serious about leaf cleanup. Made with polyester and a nylon-bottom, this is the ultimate heavy-duty bag for those who need to pick up leaves on rough terrain. If you have a two-bag material collection system, this is the perfect bag for you. The ST95084 TerraKing Pro Bag offers a maximum bag opening circumference of 120 inches, with 54-Cu. Ft. Capacity. After removing your collection system’s existing bags, you simply drape the leaf bag’s opening over the hood, pull the debris flap over the front, and tighten the two cord locks to secure it in place. While in use, the abrasion-resistant polyester ensures that you’re investing in a durable leaf-collecting solution for use season after season and a nylon-bottom gives you even more protection against rough terrain. Additionally, our design promotes airflow while trapping dust and debris, which results in less mess while you collect your leaves. All of our leaf bags are proudly made in the USA. This bag requires a material collection system; however, a material collection system is NOT included in the purchase of this bag. THE Most Reasonably-Priced Homeowner Leaf Collection Solution, EVER!
Original Review Posted November 9, 2019: I’ve been doing our yearly fall leaf cleanup for over 40 years and, although we only have about a 1/3 to 1/2 an acre, the mass of leaves is GINORMOUS! Since we don't have a wooded area in which to dump the leaves, I'm "condemned" to collecting, bagging and dragging the swell of leaf bags and other yard debris out to the curb for weekly pickup. In the past, I've counted collecting100, 39 gallon lawn and leaf bags (1/2 of the leaves are from our neighbor's trees)! I'd been raking, using the walk-behind self-propelled push mower with the grass catcher bag but nothing made the back-breaking task of Fall leaf cleanup any easier or faster. This Spring I FINALLY(!) purchased the small Cub Cadet CC 30 H rear engine riding mower with a 30" deck and the only available rear bagging attachment available (a mere 3.5 bushels).A few weeks ago, while searching Amazon for DIY parts, I stumbled upon the TerraKing Leaf Bag. I read every single review, watched numerous videos, thought about it for awhile and decided to give it a try. Thus far, I've used the bag 3 times and it has been THE SOLUTION I had been searching for without breaking the bank. The most challenging aspect about the bag for me, was figuring out how to properly affix it to my mower's bagging system - which was a little trial and error but quite easy, overall. As per the leaf bag instructions and reviewer comments, I made sure to collect any tree branches from the yard. I used the TerraKing Leaf Bag when the leaves were dry. I only did 3 laps around the yard, thereby ensuring the bag didn't get too heavy for this old guy to lift, detached the bag and dumped the leaves into a 95 gallon wheeled toter (garbage can) which I lined with clear, thick, 95 gallon bags (also purchased on Amazon). Utilizing this “new" for-me-process has cut my individual leaf collection sessions from about 3 or 4 hours down to 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I'm so incredibly pleased with the ease and results this bag makes possible that I'd replace it immediately if it were damaged!A few thoughts about using the TerraKing Leaf Bag with a rear engine riding mower with a 30" deck, such as the Cub Cadet CC 30 H:As many other reviewers have mentioned, regardless of whether you use a front or rear engine mower, Do NOT ride your mower in reverse with the bag attached UNLESS you are towing it in a cart - you will run over it and damage / tear it.If you have a rear engine mower, DO be aware of where your exhaust / muffler is located. On my Cub Cadet CC 30 H, it's located on the left side, so I only make clockwise turns (I can make left turns, as well, as long as the bag stays behind my rear wheels - which it always does). In addition, know what areas of the engine get HOT and keep the bag away from them. With my Cub Cadet rear engine rider, I remove the 2 grass catcher bags, place the hood in the closed (down) position, then drape the bag over and behind the top of the hood (under which the chute is located) and underneath the grass catcher frame. I run the TerraKing Leaf Bag BEHIND the tow / trailer hitch and pull the rope tight on both sides, ensuring it is BEHIND the tow / trailer hitch before starting the mower.Do NOT allow the bag to get too full - in particular if your leaves are wet and or you're doing leaves by yourself, otherwise you'll be laboring as hard as though you were raking, just to drag and empty it at your dump location and or lifting it to dump into a container / toter.I'm still trying to figure out how to effectively attach a 6' x 8' tarp to the CC's tow / trailer hitch, in order to help protect the bag from either snagging on an object in the grass and friction wear. I've had no success using different sized bungee cords or rods attached through the grommets on the tarp and attaching them to different points on the grass catcher frame and or tow / trailer hitch as the tarp tends to get twisted. The other "issue" I've encountered is that the leaves most often don't blow to the back of the bag. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I'm only filling the bag to about 1/3 full and thereby the leaves aren't being pushed further back into the bag or my mower deck is only set to the 3rd level of the 5 heights, with 5 being the lowest / closest to the lawn (as I don't want to cut the grass too short for Winter) and thereby not producing more blower force with which to propel the leaves further back into the bag.My "Bottom Line" about the TerraKing Leaf Bag: I wish I had purchased a riding mower and found the TerraKing Leaf Bag decades ago. IMO, IT IS THE MOST AFFORDABLE, EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT leaf collection process I have ever used! I'd recommend this to anyone looking to make back-breaking raking, walk-behind mower collection or costly lawn service a thing of the past!UPDATE #1, December 2019: My 1st Leaf collection season with the new Cub Cadet CC30 H rear engine riding mower is just about complete after 6 sessions of using my new TerraKing Leaf Bag. The bag now has 2 holes in it - completely my fault. Although I did walk through the lawn to collect any branches (as any lawn mower manufacturer recommends prior to mowing), I rode my mower too close under a pine tree and a low hanging (downward pointed) branch scraped the bag where it is draped over the bagger lid causing a very small hole, which won't affect the bag's functionality.Update #2: December 2019: A couple of weeks ago I purchased a 2nd TerraKing Leaf Bag because it is the least labor-intensive and most reasonably priced method of managing my leaf collection, and I wouldn't want to be without it if something were to happen to my 1st one (and before another price increase).Update #3, November 2021: I’m now on my 3rd Fall season of leaf pickup with the 1st TerraKing leaf bag I purchased in September, 2019 (my 1st year and Fall season with my new 2019 Cub Cadet CC30 H rear engine riding mower). The bag is holding up very, very, well. There is a small tear I inflicted on it due to riding too close to a low hanging pine tree branch. Other than that, however, this bag has performed wonderfully and is awesome! I drag it without a “sled” or tarp under it (although I’ve tried a tarp 2 years ago, I couldn’t keep the tarp straight when dragging it and the bag also kept sliding off the tarp, as well). I do walk over my lawn to ensure there are no tree branches lurking beneath the leaves that could tear the bag. I still have the 2nd bag I purchased shortly after I purchased my 1st one, unopened, just to make sure I have a reserve bag if I’d ever need it, ASAP. Once the 1st one is no longer of use, I’ll purchase another bag as a back-up.Update #4, December 2022: My first TerraKing 54 cubic foot 120” bag has begun to show some more wear as I discovered 2, less-than-palm-sized holes on the underside of the bag, which must’ve happened during the first Fall leaf pickup of the year, last month. Fortunately, TerraKing included a fair sized iron-on patch which can be cut into smaller pieces to accommodate the hole needing to be repaired. I’ll tackle this task in the Spring. I still have another new bag (which I also purchased in 2019) in the event this first one becomes irreparable. I decided to purchase another TerraKing leaf bag as well as their “Pro” bag because it’s still the BEST leaf collection method I’ve ever used! This bag has been an absolute game-changer, cutting my leaf-collecting sessions down from 4 hours down to 1 hour, each.Update Number 5, December 2023: Next weekend will be my final leaf collection session for this fall. This is the 5th fall season I’ve used this bag, which is the 1st one I purchased. Since then , I have purchased 3 more, just to have them in reserve when the bag in use becomes too damaged to continue using, as well as to get ahead of continuing price increases for the 120” bag. This bag has held up really, really well over 5 fall leaf-collection seasons. It literally only takes me 1 to 1.5 hours to collect the leaves in our back yard using the TerraKing 120” bag attached to my Cub Cadet CC 30 H rear engine mower vs. between 3 to 4 hours raking and bagging or previously using a rear bagger push mower, AND, it’s not even strenuous! The TerraKing Leaf Bag is a 1000% winner!

A few thoughts about using the TerraKing Leaf Bag with a rear engine riding mower with a 30" deck, such as the Cub Cadet CC 30 H:

As many other reviewers have mentioned, regardless of whether you use a front or rear engine mower, Do NOT ride your mower in reverse with the bag attached UNLESS you are towing it in a cart - you will run over it and damage / tear it.

If you have a rear engine mower, DO be aware of where your exhaust / muffler is located. On my Cub Cadet CC 30 H, it's located on the left side, so I only make clockwise turns (I can make left turns, as well, as long as the bag stays behind my rear wheels - which it always does).

Do NOT allow the bag to get too full - in particular if your leaves are wet and or you're doing leaves by yourself, otherwise you'll be laboring as hard as though you were raking, just to drag and empty it at your dump location and or lifting it to dump into a container / toter.

Once the 1st one is no longer of use, I’ll purchase another bag as a back-up.

Update #4, December 2022: My first TerraKing 54 cubic foot 120” bag has begun to show some more wear as I discovered 2, less-than-palm-sized holes on the underside of the bag, which must’ve happened during the first Fall leaf pickup of the year, last month. This bag has been an absolute game-changer, cutting my leaf-collecting sessions down from 4 hours down to 1 hour, each.

Update Number 5, December 2023: Next weekend will be my final leaf collection session for this fall.
